Do I need tools or drilling to install?

Most items mount to factory points using the included hardware and basic hand tools. Drilling is not required unless explicitly stated on the product page.

Is it weather-resistant / waterproof?

Products are designed to be weather-resistant for normal riding conditions. Lids use perimeter seals (where applicable) to help protect contents from rain, snow and dust. Not intended for submersion or pressure-washer jets directed at the seals.

How much weight can I carry?

Please follow the manufacturer’s rated load for your front/rear rack or tunnel. Internal volume is listed on the product page; distribute weight evenly and secure the load.

What materials is it made of? Will it handle low temperatures?

I purchased this box for my 2020 KRX. At the time I found it to be difficult to install because the screw holes in the box did not line up with the bolts in the bed. I completed the install by making the holes in the box bigger and using washers to complete the install.
I love the box because it is sturdy and has a ton of storage, not only in the box but around the rim of the lid for soft items like rain suits, gloves, windbreakers. It has been on my 2020 for 6200 miles and still looks new. I have transferred it to my new 2023 KRX.
It is far easier to install if you use the two center holes in the bed. It is very steady in that position and easy to remove.
It looks like OEM product and compliments the looks of the vehicle.
