Do I need tools or drilling to install?

Most items mount to factory points using the included hardware and basic hand tools. Drilling is not required unless explicitly stated on the product page.

Is it weather-resistant / waterproof?

Products are designed to be weather-resistant for normal riding conditions. Lids use perimeter seals (where applicable) to help protect contents from rain, snow and dust. Not intended for submersion or pressure-washer jets directed at the seals.

How much weight can I carry?

Please follow the manufacturer’s rated load for your front/rear rack or tunnel. Internal volume is listed on the product page; distribute weight evenly and secure the load.

What materials is it made of? Will it handle low temperatures?

Boxes and canisters are typically made of high-strength, UV- and frost-resistant polyethylene (model-dependent). Hardware is galvanized or stainless steel. Operating range suits most climates; avoid open-flame heat sources and harsh solvents.

Can I use this together with a passenger seat or backrest?

Most rear solutions are designed to stay within vehicle dimensions and not interfere with a passenger. Always check product photos and dimensions; on some models repositioning of handholds/backrests may be required.

TESSERACT Gun Case Optic — Hard Case for Scoped Rifles

A hard transport case sized so a rifle travels with its optical sight still fitted. That is the whole design brief: no removing the scope before the trip and no re-zeroing after it.

The internal length takes a weapon up to 1275 mm, and the opening is 101 × 212 mm — deep enough to clear a mounted scope rather than forcing a flat profile. The one-piece construction means the case is opened, the rifle comes out ready, and nothing has been disassembled in between.

It is moulded from recyclable LDPE, which tolerates temperature swings, takes high loads and needs no care beyond washing. Contents are protected from dust, dirt, mechanical damage and weather.

Use Cases

Hunting trips where the machine goes first and the walk comes later. The case mounts on the quad for the ride, comes off at the handle, and the rifle inside has been protected from vibration, dust and rain the whole way.

Because it can be bolted down through the four holes or clipped on with the Basic-lock, the same case works for a vehicle that keeps it permanently and for one that only carries it on hunting days.

Compatibility

Universal. It installs anywhere on a vehicle with a suitable storage rack, using either the four 10 mm holes or the quick-release Basic-lock.

There is also a standard GKA gun case for rifles carried without a mounted scope.
