Do I need tools or drilling to install?

Most items mount to factory points using the included hardware and basic hand tools. Drilling is not required unless explicitly stated on the product page.

Is it weather-resistant / waterproof?

Products are designed to be weather-resistant for normal riding conditions. Lids use perimeter seals (where applicable) to help protect contents from rain, snow and dust. Not intended for submersion or pressure-washer jets directed at the seals.

How much weight can I carry?

Please follow the manufacturer’s rated load for your front/rear rack or tunnel. Internal volume is listed on the product page; distribute weight evenly and secure the load.

What materials is it made of? Will it handle low temperatures?

Boxes and canisters are typically made of high-strength, UV- and frost-resistant polyethylene (model-dependent). Hardware is galvanized or stainless steel. Operating range suits most climates; avoid open-flame heat sources and harsh solvents.

Can I use this together with a passenger seat or backrest?

Most rear solutions are designed to stay within vehicle dimensions and not interfere with a passenger. Always check product photos and dimensions; on some models repositioning of handholds/backrests may be required.

Cargo Box for Yamaha Wolverine X4

A 150-litre cargo box for the Yamaha Wolverine X4, and the shape is the first thing you notice: it is triangular, with three separate compartments, each under its own lid. That geometry exists because the space behind the rear seats of a Wolverine is not a rectangle, and a rectangular box wastes most of it.

The middle compartment is bevelled where the rear passengers sit. It is a small detail with a real effect — nobody in the back row spends the day with a box edge against their shoulders.

Three compartments also mean three places to put things, so tools stay away from clothing and wet kit stays away from food. Three rubber locks hold the lids, and four bolts fix the box to the machine.
