Do I need tools or drilling to install?

Most items mount to factory points using the included hardware and basic hand tools. Drilling is not required unless explicitly stated on the product page.

Is it weather-resistant / waterproof?

Products are designed to be weather-resistant for normal riding conditions. Lids use perimeter seals (where applicable) to help protect contents from rain, snow and dust. Not intended for submersion or pressure-washer jets directed at the seals.

How much weight can I carry?

Please follow the manufacturer’s rated load for your front/rear rack or tunnel. Internal volume is listed on the product page; distribute weight evenly and secure the load.

What materials is it made of? Will it handle low temperatures?

Boxes and canisters are typically made of high-strength, UV- and frost-resistant polyethylene (model-dependent). Hardware is galvanized or stainless steel. Operating range suits most climates; avoid open-flame heat sources and harsh solvents.

Can I use this together with a passenger seat or backrest?

Most rear solutions are designed to stay within vehicle dimensions and not interfere with a passenger. Always check product photos and dimensions; on some models repositioning of handholds/backrests may be required.

Towing Eye for CFMOTO ZFORCE 1000 Sport / Z950 (2020–)

A towing eye that replaces the stock tow ball on the CFMOTO ZFORCE 1000 Sport and Z950 from 2020 onward.

A ball and an eye do different jobs. A ball is for towing a trailer; an eye is for being recovered. When a buggy is stuck and a strap has to go on, a ball is the wrong shape entirely — the strap slips off under angle, and a strap that comes off a ball under load travels at the speed of the recovery vehicle.

An eye takes a shackle. A shackle does not come off. That is the whole argument, and it is worth making before the recovery rather than during it.

It is a direct replacement using the existing mounting, so nothing is drilled and the change takes minutes.
