Do I need tools or drilling to install?

Most items mount to factory points using the included hardware and basic hand tools. Drilling is not required unless explicitly stated on the product page.

Is it weather-resistant / waterproof?

Products are designed to be weather-resistant for normal riding conditions. Lids use perimeter seals (where applicable) to help protect contents from rain, snow and dust. Not intended for submersion or pressure-washer jets directed at the seals.

How much weight can I carry?

Boxes and canisters are typically made of high-strength, UV- and frost-resistant polyethylene (model-dependent). Hardware is galvanized or stainless steel. Operating range suits most climates; avoid open-flame heat sources and harsh solvents.

Can I use this together with a passenger seat or backrest?

A rear bumper for the Can-Am Maverick Trail and Maverick Sport, shaped to the narrow-body chassis these two machines share.

The Trail is built narrow on purpose — it fits down forest tracks a full-width UTV cannot enter. Which means it gets driven down them, and reversing back out of a track that turned out to be a dead end is one of the defining experiences of owning one.

Reversing blind between trees is exactly the situation this bumper exists for. It gives the rear a steel edge that finds the tree before the tail panel does.

It bolts to the factory attachment points and stays within the machine’s width, which on a Trail is the whole point — a bumper that sticks out sideways defeats the reason the machine was bought.
