Do I need tools or drilling to install?

Is it weather-resistant / waterproof?

Products are designed to be weather-resistant for normal riding conditions. Lids use perimeter seals (where applicable) to help protect contents from rain, snow and dust. Not intended for submersion or pressure-washer jets directed at the seals.

How much weight can I carry?

What materials is it made of? Will it handle low temperatures?

Boxes and canisters are typically made of high-strength, UV- and frost-resistant polyethylene (model-dependent). Hardware is galvanized or stainless steel. Operating range suits most climates; avoid open-flame heat sources and harsh solvents.

Can I use this together with a passenger seat or backrest?

Most rear solutions are designed to stay within vehicle dimensions and not interfere with a passenger. Always check product photos and dimensions; on some models repositioning of handholds/backrests may be required.

A front lift kit for the CFMOTO CFORCE 600 family, adding 1.5″ of clearance to the front of the machine.

The useful detail is what it means for the rear. You are not stuck with a nose-up machine: the rear can be lifted by rotating the arm holders that are already on the ATV, which costs nothing and needs no extra parts.

So a front kit on this machine is effectively a full lift — buy the front, adjust the rear, and the geometry ends up level. That is not true of most lift kits and it is worth knowing before paying for a two-end kit elsewhere.

One and a half inches is a sensible figure. It clears meaningfully more ground and makes room for larger tyres without pushing driveshaft angles or the centre of gravity anywhere unwise.
