Do I need tools or drilling to install?

Most items mount to factory points using the included hardware and basic hand tools. Drilling is not required unless explicitly stated on the product page.

Is it weather-resistant / waterproof?

Products are designed to be weather-resistant for normal riding conditions. Lids use perimeter seals (where applicable) to help protect contents from rain, snow and dust. Not intended for submersion or pressure-washer jets directed at the seals.

How much weight can I carry?

Please follow the manufacturer’s rated load for your front/rear rack or tunnel. Internal volume is listed on the product page; distribute weight evenly and secure the load.

What materials is it made of? Will it handle low temperatures?

Boxes and canisters are typically made of high-strength, UV- and frost-resistant polyethylene (model-dependent). Hardware is galvanized or stainless steel. Operating range suits most climates; avoid open-flame heat sources and harsh solvents.

Can I use this together with a passenger seat or backrest?

Most rear solutions are designed to stay within vehicle dimensions and not interfere with a passenger. Always check product photos and dimensions; on some models repositioning of handholds/backrests may be required.

A rear bumper for the third-generation CFMOTO CFORCE 800 and 1000 EPS, built from 32 mm steel pipe with powder coating.

The generation matters. CFMOTO redesigned the CFORCE platform for 2024, and the rear structure changed with it. A bumper cut for the earlier machine will not locate on this one.

What it protects is the rear bodywork, the light housings and the corners of the rack — the parts that collect damage from reversing, loading and towing rather than from riding. On a new machine that is worth preventing rather than repairing.

Weight is 7 kg, and it bolts to the factory attachment points with nothing cut or drilled.
