Do I need tools or drilling to install?

Is it weather-resistant / waterproof?

Products are designed to be weather-resistant for normal riding conditions. Lids use perimeter seals (where applicable) to help protect contents from rain, snow and dust. Not intended for submersion or pressure-washer jets directed at the seals.

How much weight can I carry?

What materials is it made of? Will it handle low temperatures?

Boxes and canisters are typically made of high-strength, UV- and frost-resistant polyethylene (model-dependent). Hardware is galvanized or stainless steel. Operating range suits most climates; avoid open-flame heat sources and harsh solvents.

Can I use this together with a passenger seat or backrest?

Most rear solutions are designed to stay within vehicle dimensions and not interfere with a passenger. Always check product photos and dimensions; on some models repositioning of handholds/backrests may be required.

Rear Cargo Box for Polaris Scrambler

A 32-litre rear box for the Polaris Scrambler, including the Scrambler 850 and the XP 1000 S. The Scrambler is a sport quad with a small rear rack, and this box is sized to it: compact enough to keep the lines of the machine, large enough to end the habit of riding with a rucksack.

It sits on the back platform without reaching past the sides, so nothing changes about how the quad moves through tight ground. Four bolts go into the holes already in the rack, and the box comes off the same way when you want the platform bare.

The walls are ribbed, which keeps a small box rigid, and the lid closes onto a gasket that seals against grime, dust and water. Empty weight is 5 kg.
