Suspension guards for the Yamaha YXZ1000 from 2019 onward, in 4 mm aluminium, covering front and rear A-arms. A belly plate protects what is under the frame. The A-arms are not under the frame — they are outboard of it, low, and forward, which means they meet obstacles the belly plate is nowhere near. On a machine built for speed the consequence is worse than a scrape. A bent arm changes the suspension geometry, and geometry on a YXZ is what the whole chassis is set up around. The set weighs 5.64 kg for front and rear together, and all mounting hardware is included. SKU: 40.4997 Rock and root ground, where the arms reach obstacles well outboard of the frame. Racing and aggressive trail use, where a bent arm ends the day and the setup with it. Desert running, where hard landings put the arms through their full travel repeatedly.
