Do I need tools or drilling to install?

Is it weather-resistant / waterproof?

Products are designed to be weather-resistant for normal riding conditions. Lids use perimeter seals (where applicable) to help protect contents from rain, snow and dust. Not intended for submersion or pressure-washer jets directed at the seals.

Three millimetres of aluminium is a structural panel, not a sunshade. That thickness is what lets the roof do the second job it is designed for: it is a solid base for mounting accessories and for carrying cargo, rather than something that would deform under a load.

The first job is straightforward. Overhead protection from sun, rain and the branches that come through an open cage at head height on any wooded trail.
